Let’s face it – you probably don’t want to cook breakfast on Christmas morning, do you? Sure, you want everyone to get full with a healthy and tasty breakfast to start a happy but usually busy day. But the thought of getting ready, cooking and cleaning up the kitchen amidst all the other Christmas activities doesn’t necessarily bring joy. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite Christmas breakfast ideas to help serve breakfast with ease.

First, a few tips to help breakfast go smoothly on Christmas morning:

  • To have a plan. Know what you’ll be serving to make breakfast on Christmas morning a breeze.
  • Get ahead. Many of the foods below can be prepared ahead of time and reheated for Christmas breakfast. Have some side dishes ready if you want to serve something with the following ingredients, e.g. B. hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, whole wheat muffins, or other breakfast favorites.
  • disposable tableware. If you know you have a lot of people at home this Christmas and want to start the day with minimal kitchen cleaning, allowing your family to use disposable tableware is a huge time saver.
  • To accept help. Sure, Christmas is filled with visions of gifts, family fun, and more, but chores can be given to kids of almost any age to help. Let the older children put the breakfast dishes in the dishwasher. Have the younger children wipe the table. Having children (and adults too) complete age-appropriate chores allows you to focus on the joys of the day by not overexerting yourself.
