"What should I eat?!" How to choose the best Mediterranean diet foods for YOU? [Infographic]

"What should I eat on the Mediterranean Diet ?!"

Keep that handy Mediterranean Diet Food List Be your guide.

You may find that our list is a little different from the one you find elsewhere.

The reason: It is not a two-column food list "eat / not eat" or "good / bad".

Instead, we've broken everything down into a continuum – from "eat more" to "eat something" to "eat less".

This way no eating is forbidden. And you can easily see which foods to highlight – higher quality, more nutritious options – and which foods should be eaten less frequently (but not given up entirely).

As a cool side benefit, if you focus more on the "Eat more" category, you will likely find that you naturally eat less in the other categories. And then the health benefits kick in.

Think of this grocery list as a tool regardless of your starting point. One that will help you progress over time instead of striving for perfection all at once.

Our advice: The aim is to meet Mediterranean eating habits "Just a little better" than you do now, and keep improving over time.

This is how permanent change happens.

This infographic shows you how. Use it to:

  • Include a mix of Mediterranean dietary proteins, vegetables, carbohydrates, and fats
  • Strategically improve your food choices – based on what you are currently eating – to help you feel better, move around, and look better.
  • Customize your intake to suit your unique lifestyle, goals, and (of course) taste buds.

As a bonus, we've made space available to build your personal Mediterranean diet list on a continuum. This allows you to put together a delicious Mediterranean style menu that suits you.
